CAMEO

This is a monthly Tuesday lunchtime short service followed by a light two-course lunch for Senior Citizens (over 65s). From 12-1.30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. For info call 779162. More details available here.

The Parish is part of a Group Ministry with the Arle

Lent Activity

This years Lent course will look at 'The Beatitudes' Jesus' great words from the sermon on the mount. As usual there will be lunchtime and evening sessions (with a bring and share meal at lunchtime) starting on the 28th February.More details available here.
On a lighter note we will be holding our Pancake Day again, This time in Itchen Abbas Village Hall. For full details click here.

St Swithun's Martyr Worthy

St Swithun’s Church is at the heart of the village of Martyr Worthy, open daily for over 900 years it has been so well used it needs some maintenance.
New Year
To ensure it retains its traditional character whilst providing more space to suit modern use it is being updated and improved. this will provide more flexible space (by removing some pews), renewed stone flooring, storage and kitchenette and a hearing loop. We have made a good start with fundraising from our own resources, but we still need to raise a substantial sum. To help us with our fundraising please click here!

Welcome - we are so pleased that you have found your way to our website. The Itchen Valley is comprised of the four beautiful and friendly villages of Avington, Easton, Itchen Abbas and Martyr Worthy.

We are a welcoming church family and our aim is to offer worship which deepens our faith, common life and relationship with Jesus Christ. To discover more about our vision for the valley and how we are going to achieve it click here
We have a range of services and events which you can find out about on this site. If you wish to join us for any of them, you are most welcome.
